A traditional, run sporting Estate surrounding the local area of Burford and the Barringtons, known as ‘The Gateway’ to the Cotswolds. By utilising the natural landscape and extensive woodland, some of the Cotswolds highest, sporting pheasants and partridges are available for single and double gun days, across 27 drives. Bag size is typically 200 to 500. Novice and experienced guns, together with their dogs are welcome. We have days available for both full teams and individual pegs. Partridges are shown from well known drives including Bush field, Hollow Barn, Cuckoo Leys, Front Field, Snowfence, Belt and Market Wood. These drives succeed thanks to the tall trees, encouraging the birds to gain height and slide when in full flight over the valleys. Pheasant drives showing challenging birds from signatory drives including Katies, Boundary, Belt and Market Wood benefit from prevailing winds on a north facing bank over the river Windrush valley. We are excited to have some new ground this season 2023/24 to show Partridges, again over tall trees on top of some steep sided valleys, adjoining the main shooting ground, taking the shoot up to over 3000 acres. All Shot game is processed locally, with a complimentary brace supplied to the clients on the day, all other game is supplied to local retailers and wholesalers.

Ryde Farm Estate is the Forte's private residence located in the beautiful Surrey countryside. Conveniently located only an hour from central London. This is a well established family shoot boasting over 40 years of shooting through the generations. We have been delivering high quality pheasant and partridge shooting for the family, with a small number of exclusive and highly successful let days which are now growing in number. For the past 3 seasons we have successfully started building up a great reputation for hosting let days and this has gone from strength to strength. The estate covers 2,000 acres of rolling slopes made up of woodlands and farmland, with a beautiful and newly developed lake drive. We have 15 drives that make the most of the natural surroundings to deliver excellent driven shooting that ensures to leave your barrels hot and a smile on your face. We have carefully selected the strain of pheasant we put down to best suit the topography of the land which has left us with an extremely athletic and fast flying pheasant. We pride ourselves on the excellent hospitality we provide to our guests; from the service to the lovely dishes prepared and cooked by the onsite private chef. Depending on your choice of day, there are bacon rolls with tea and coffee on arrival, followed by champagne elevenses. These will be sure to keep you going until you are served your beautifully presented canapés before a 3 course lunch with accompanying wines from the cellar. The shoot is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the M25 and an hour from central London.

**Driven Pheasant and Partridge Shooting** Hungerford Park is a family run shoot spanning over 1500 acres of lowland woodland and managed farmland.  We run a number of 100 - 250 bird let days to cater for a wide range budgets and abilities.  It is important to us that our days are relaxed and fun for all involved.  Our shoot has been run by the same family and gamekeeper for over 20 years and is well respected and held in the highest regard in local shooting circles. We generally show 4-5 drives of mixed Pheasant and Partridge. We are always confident to give our clients a fantastic shooting experience and an enjoyable day out. Hospitality is included in the cost of the day, with tea/coffee etc upon arrival followed by a substantial elevenses/lunch in between drives out in the field (weather permitting). Should you require something slightly different to meet your specific requirements we are more than happy to discuss the options and try to accommodate your needs. We also pride ourselves on welcoming young shots to the sport. We feel the future of shooting is extremely important and they are it. We look to make their early experiences a pleasurable and fun one. We are able to organise experienced instructor or loaders if required. We are easily accessible from the M4 J14 only an hour from London and 40 mins from Southampton. **Accompanied Stalking** Hungerford Park offers accompanied Roe, Fallow and Muntjac stalking throughout the year. The estate provides some challenging lowland stalking to cater for all levels of experience. Morning and evening stalks as well as highseats, up to 2 stalkers per outing. Stalking fee £120 per stalk plus trophy fee and head preparation. All clients must have a minimum BASC membership insurance, estate rifle available at no extra cost. Marlston Shoot: 150 – 450 single gun and double gun days. Shooting pheasant, English and French partridge as well as occasional Wildfowl & some woodcock.  We are located on the edge of the Berkshire Downs an hour from West London by car or 45 minutes into Newbury station and offer the first taste of “real” countryside and so properly testing shooting west of London. Birds are pushed over deep wooded valleys and off game crops on high spots on the estate. With 20 named major drives and plenty of other options we can cater to all levels of guns – whether you are looking for a 150 bird late season day or a 300 bird mid-season bonanza. Marlston can easily be done as a day trip from London, but we also have some fantastic places to stay very locally – from the Michelin starred Vineyard at Donnington, the widely acclaimed Pot Kiln at Frilsham and wonderful Royal Oak at Yattendon. Many other choices are available. 4 x 4’s, loaders, instructors, guns, cartridges etc. can all be arranged – please just ask! With over 2000 acres of rolling countryside and over 500 acres of woodland and covers we have plenty of options to be able to provide a personalised day for all tastes. Whether that be a smart corporate environment with no holds barred or a friendly family day – the days are catered to your requirements. With a definitely eye on quality over quantity, we work to constantly evolve our drives and the use of our ground to make the days interesting and testing for all involved. Coupled with an eye on hospitality we provide an all-round packaged day tailored to your wants will not disappoint. Catering and hospitality is based around our wonderful shoot lodge with roaring log burner creating a cheery atmosphere. Days start with coffee at the lodge and go onto elevenses of gin, soup and hot nibbles after the second drive. Usually we do 4 drives before lunch and 1 or 2 after lunch - although shooting through is always an option. Lunch is usually a couple of courses with full bar and wine and coffee, port or a sauternes is always an option! Tea and cakes round off the day.
