Hawstead shoot the best duck in hampshire is a friendly family run shoot and we shoot over 2000acres of typical Hampshire ground. The days are all shot during the week.
We shoot duck which are all driven The farm has a lot of woodland with all pasture ground around it, there are also a few game covers being a mix of maize and wild bird seed mixes. The ground is split by a road, with around 1000acres on either side of the road. The owner will take you around the shoot and place you on your pegs and the son is the keeper. Please contact Dan we cater for all mixed pheasant and duck driven and flights from 4 guns to 10 and from 80 bird to 350 u would never get to fire so many cartridges on a pheasant day And so many quality birds

10/10 would recommend to anybody looking to try something amazing and a bit different from normal UK duck. There is no standing around flight ponds, these are proper driven duck in the quantity and quality that provides sporting challenge to anyone. Some of the speeds the duck were attaining on cross over shots was frightening! An absolutely brilliant day out hosted by Father and son team Andy and Dan, in the lovely Hampshire countryside. We will be booking again for next year, plus the local pies at lunch were delicious. There is something for everyone here at a very reasonable price plus a great sense of inclusion with the beaters and hosts. 10/10

Had a fantastic days shooting. Dan, Andy and the team were very friendly and welcoming. There are ducks for all abilities and some seriously high ones if you really want to test yourself. Can't reccomend highly enough and will definitely be returning.

Nothing but positive things to say about the time I spent here on shoot days. Due to struggling with social anxiety I find new places extremely difficult but my experience on arrival was extremely friendly and welcoming leaving me feeling very at home from the very beginning. The staff were excellent and very polite, the day was great because it was my first time and ended with me going back again the next month for another shoot day. A great place all round and certainly a great family environment.

I have just booked a couple of days shooting at the Hawstead shoot in Hampshire. I’m not really one for writing reviews but knowing the importance of finding the right shoot and having visited Hawstead Shoot last season I thought I should put pen to paper, so to speak. Most of my game shooting has been pheasant and partridge, I had heard about this shoot from some shooting friends and was told they that they produce some fantastic duck. A little apprehensive, I thought I would give it a go and booked a day last season. It was a superb day with birds to suit all levels and without a doubt if you wanted to put your skills to the test some of the duck would challenge the best of shots. The whole day was well organised, the owners were really friendly and helpful and certainly went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a fantastic day.
