Bigods Hall is steeped in history and there has long been a shoot here.  Set in the stunning Essex countryside, this fun and exciting shoot has alot to offer. With a mixed bag, of pheasant, partridge, duck and with good showings of woodcock in winter months a varied bag is always guarenteed. Days from 100 - 200 bird can be accomodated for. Lunch and hospitality is included with breakfast and 11sys. Usually a home cooked meal on the menu in our newly renovated shoot lodge after or at lunchtime. All birds are home reared ensuring that they are in the best possible health before going to wood and are well known for there wingbeat locally and to fly very well as we supply a few local shoots.  The shoot is a mix of well positioned game covers and woodland drives in our 100 acre historic wood providing exciting testing sport for all guns.  The shoot emphesises on a friendly atmosphere and all guns are made to feel welcome. We have many teams returning year on year.  We will tend to do between 6 and 7 drives allowing for the whole estate to be seen and ensuring a full days sport.  There is suitabale accomadation near by and if breakfast is wanted there is a great pub down the lane that caters for fantastic full english breakfasts at a small cost.  Please do get in touch if you have any enquiries

The Old Church Shoot is a mixed bird driven shoot in the small town of Brightlingsea near the Essex and Suffolk border. We shoot right from the sea wall all the way round to the iconic Old Church in some lovely Essex countryside. Our main concern is that our guns have an enjoyable day and leave with great memories of the Shoot.

A family run farm in the North West of Essex, 45 miles from London. We have angulating arable and grass land. Where we show predominately pheasants but also good showings of partridge. There are some duck and can be added in if wanted. Our birds are pushed off game crops and woods accros the farm using the lands topograohy to its best. We would expect to have a 3 to 1 shot ratio. Bags ranging from 150 - 350 bird days are standard but can do more if needed.  Dogs are encouraged to the day. We would prefer 8 guns but can accommodate 9 with ease.  Meet at 9.15am, for coffee before heading out, all elevensies and other hospitality is included. A great lunch is taken in our very comfomratlable shoot lodge.  mid morning drinks are provided out and Lunch and Tea is provided at the farm in a very spacious and comfortable shoot lodge. Dates are flexible during the season so please ask for dates you wish to shoot, and we will do our best to accomodate you.  The aim of the day is to offer good sport in a fun relaxed atmosphere.  Please do get in touch for more details.
