Sails Point Game Shoot

We are a long established Shoot in East Essex situated near the oldest church in use in the country and in view of the first Nuclear power station. We have the River Blackwater on one side and The North Sea on another. Although the land is fairly flat it shows good birds and has the ability to show some exceptional birds. The land is classic Partridge country and has good hedge rows and cover to help hold both Pheasant and Partridge alike!

This Year we are holding a 50 bird mixed driven day for 8 Guns on the 1st October.

After meeting in the morning The day will start with breakfast at our shoot lodge. Then a quick briefing from the keeper, we will then draw for pegs and off to the first drive. We move up 3  giveing everyone a chance of some good birds and hopefully the "hot spot". Transport will be in a purpose built Guns Trailer between drives.

The day will include at least three mixed Pheasant and Partridge drives and one Duck drive. Along with Breakfast, lunch, tea, coffee and refreshments! Then at the end of day a brace of birds for all those that want them then rounding the day off with a pint and a chat in a local pub!
