A family run farm in the North West of Essex, 45 miles from London. We have angulating arable and grass land. Where we show predominately pheasants but also good showings of partridge. There are some duck and can be added in if wanted. Our birds are pushed off game crops and woods accros the farm using the lands topograohy to its best. We would expect to have a 3 to 1 shot ratio.
Bags ranging from 150 - 350 bird days are standard but can do more if needed.
Dogs are encouraged to the day.
We would prefer 8 guns but can accommodate 9 with ease.
Meet at 9.15am, for coffee before heading out, all elevensies and other hospitality is included. A great lunch is taken in our very comfomratlable shoot lodge.
mid morning drinks are provided out and Lunch and Tea is provided at the farm in a very spacious and comfortable shoot lodge.
Dates are flexible during the season so please ask for dates you wish to shoot, and we will do our best to accomodate you.
The aim of the day is to offer good sport in a fun relaxed atmosphere.

I shot at Pauls farm in early January 2016 and had an extremely poor day. The birds were low and unsporting. We were chasing the bag all day and after 7 drives finally caught up with some birds but it was too little too late. Not a shoot I would recommend!

We had a fantastic day shooting at Pauls Farm Shoot at the end of November 2015. Well organized and run day. Excellent pheasants and great duck. I could not recommend highly enough. We will definitely be going back.

We had a very good day of partridge and pheasant. The birds were well presented and there were plenty of pickers up. The beaters and Patrick and very friendly and lunch was delicious. All in all a great day out in a pretty part of the Essex countryside.
