Set in pretty countryside offering perfect terrain for quality pheasant and partridge shooting. Sodington Hall and Winwoods Shooting Estates are situated on the border of Worcestershire and Shropshire, less than one hour West of Birmingham and half an hour from the M5. Being within a few minutes drive of each other, these estates are often shot together. With a dedicated team led by Oliver Davies, we provide 150 to 400 bird days available from Mondays through to Saturdays, as well as multi-day shoot programmes, enabling guns to enjoy our other estates. A shoot bus is available for full teams by prior arrangement. Our emphasis is on providing quality throughout, from terrain, our range of drives and bird presentation, to food, drink, and accommodation. We are passionate about creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Fairoaks Estate is based under the Malvern Hlls in an area of outstanding natural beauty .We shoot across 600 acres  with fantastic topography for high fast phesants coupled with amazing views across the Severn Valley to the Cotsworld escarpment. We have 8 main drives all  through mature woods on steep slopes and 2 drives through game cover. The shoot has been exclusively used for the family for the last 25 years. It has been decided that for the first time a number of commercial days will be offered so others can enjoy the estate.The shoot is all about quality not just quantity in a relaxed but professional enviroment. The day will consist of meeting at the shooting lodge at 9:00am for a tea/coffee and drawing of pegs and on stand by 9:30am.There will be two drives and we will then stop for a drink and a nibble, followed by another 3 drives. We will then return to the shoot lodge for a home cooked meal. We also can offer accomadation at our luxory barn conversion which can sleep up to 24 people.If you would like to make a weekend off it we can organise back to back days at some renowned local shoots.

Although some pegs are only accessible by walking. We can however arrange transport by alternative means for anyone with a disability or health restrictions if requested at the time of booking or before the day. **Dogs:** We welcome well trained dogs (by agreement), although our excellent team of pickers up are provided to speedily retrieve shot game. **Directions**: Due to the rural location. We can send you detailed directions to the shoot, as sat navs do not always guide you accurately to our location. Just ask at time of booking and let us know where you are travelling from. **Pictures Of Your Day**: We can also arrange for photographer - Louise - to record your day in pictures for your team - a valuable reminder of your day out with friends and fellow sportsmen to look back on and reminisce. David Morris Sporting offers traditional driven pheasant, partridge and duck shooting at Hopton Court Estate near Cleobury Mortimer in South Shropshire. Heading into our 10th season running the shoot, we pride ourselves on providing well organised days with sporting birds, varied drives and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that keeps many guns returning year after year. Dave Morris, who was Head Keeper at Hopton for over 20 years, now runs the shoot as Shoot Captain and Director. His wealth of knowledge and experience helps ensure both the quality of the sport and the warm hospitality that guests enjoy when shooting with us. We shoot over approximately 4,500 acres of beautiful undulating ground on the edge of the Shropshire Hills, with drives set across woodland, arable land and numerous pools. This varied ground allows us to present excellent sporting pheasants, partridges and duck throughout the season. Drives such as Ethel’s, Pit Holes and The Banks regularly produce high, challenging birds, and Hopton has long been known for its reputation for fast, testing ducks that many sportsmen enjoy. As well as the quality of the shooting, the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the day is something many of our guns particularly value and one of the reasons they return year after year. The shoot is located within easy travelling distance of Birmingham and the West Midlands, making it a convenient location for teams looking to enjoy a traditional day’s shooting in beautiful countryside. For catering we have our own gun room, where our excellent cook can provide breakfast, lunch or dinner to suit your requirements. For something a little more special, guests may also dine at Hopton Court, a beautiful country house set within the grounds of the estate. Accommodation is available nearby at The Hopton Crown, a well known shooting pub situated on the estate and popular with guns and beaters alike. Other excellent options include The Elms Hotel & Spa at Abberley, and the historic market town of Ludlow, just 15 minutes away and renowned for its outstanding restaurants and independent shops.
