Court Shoot Syndicate: small informal & friendly family run shoot syndicate. Limited number of 150 – 200 bird Partridge days Mid Sept – Nov - Cost: £32 per bird NO VAT (2020-21) / make up a team, last minute cancellations / join us on one of our regular syndicate days if available @ £370/day. Just contact us with requirements & contact details; so we can accommodate you.

Transport: Usually the guns own 4X4. Although some pegs are only accessible by walking. We can however arrange transport by alternative means for anyone with a disability or health restrictions if requested at the time of booking or before the day.
Dogs: We welcome well trained dogs (by agreement), although our excellent team of pickers up are provided to speedily retrieve shot game.
Directions: Due to the rural location. We can send you detailed directions to the shoot, as sat navs do not always guide you accurately to our location. Just ask at time of booking and let us know where you are travelling from.
Pictures Of Your Day: We can also arrange for photographer - Louise - to record your day in pictures for your team - a valuable reminder of your day out with friends and fellow sportsmen to look back on and reminisce. Please check her availability and costs at time of booking.
Sadly we will not be shooting this season due to Covid-19 - but look forward to meeting you all next year - please contact us with your requirements for 2021-22 season
Hospitality
We are an extremely hospitable & sociable syndicate, but try to accommodate all budgets by offering the following within cost of your day: Refreshments included: Tea & coffee on arrival - 11's between drives - Tea, coffee,alternative drinks at lunch time – Tea, coffee, drinks (incl selection of home made fruit gins etc) & light refreshments at end of day.
We would however also have great pleasure in providing any additional refreshment requirements to those who require it: Breakfast – either @ local pub or bacon rolls in the shoot room on arrival Lunch – A light lunch provided in shoot room Evening Meal – arranged at local pub/restaurant. Menu & time to suit yourselves at the end of the day Accommodation - also available locally (please ask for details)
Topography
Situated in beautiful undulating countryside located above river valley; some 850 feet above sea level, and near to County borders of Herefordshire, Worcestershire & Shropshire. The shoot consists of over 700 acres of mixed arable and grass margins, grass land, orchards, game cover crops, established broad leaf and conifer woodlands and dingles, with picturesque views from many points on the shoot. Historically the shoot was a traditional partridge shoot c1780 – 1800’s. Nowadays it is a family owned farm providing a mixed shoot.
About the hosts
Established over 30 years. We are a small friendly group of family & friends; who shoot on the family owned farm. Shoot captain - Phil is at the helm; is also our very dedicated unpaid keeper – showing us consistently good quality birds. Backed up by a very dedicated beating & picking up team. We shoot on Saturdays, with a team of 8 – 10 guns dependent on quarry. Shot: bird ratio is 3.5:1
As a guest of our syndicate, our days are all about the pleasurable enjoyment of a days shooting, in beautiful surroundings & good company – we aim to provide you with good value for money that a true sportsman/woman will appreciate. It was a relaxed and friendly shoot. There were plenty of birds on most drives, and as long as you were selective, some challenging shots. The no overage policy meant that this was exceptional value at £350 for a 146 day. The individual guns were very sporting, and as a result everyone enjoyed it - no-one was taking low birds. The home made fruit gins were lovely at elevenses, and a good selection of cakes and nibbles finished the day of nicely. I am grateful to the hosts for a nice start to my season.
