A brand new experience based on a stunning Northamptonshire country estate, seeped in history. Experience a variety of simulated drives around the historic Boughton Estate, taking in views of the 17th Century Boughton House, often described as the 'English Versailles'. You will experience a range of simulated 'lowland' drives which both novices and more seasoned guns will enjoy. Our Game Days include excellent hospitality, with a breakfast bap with Tea/Coffee on arrival, shoot lunch in front of Boughton House and a two course meal at the end of the day. Boughton, one of Northamptonshire's premier Sporting Estates, has a history of delivering quality sport whilst maintaining high standards of conservation. The tradition of partridge shooting shows extremely exciting birds over the tall hedgerows. Couple that with the vast network of game and conservation crops and you have some great drives for both pheasant and partridge shooting. The traditional woodland drives are spectacular, in particular, Boughton Wood. A variety of packages can be tailored to suit your individual needs which include exciting birds and good camaraderie as standard. We are a small friendly group, hosting guest guns to fill spaces on rare occasions we don't fill the day. Our club takes on small days of 100 birds, driven with a sit down meal etc. All the refinement of a large day but with selective shooting. We have one 100 bird driven partridge day available, looking for one, or possibly two guns. We intend there to be 8 guns and are seeking to fill one peg, however should 2 pegs be required the bag will be increased to accommodate.

Giles brings with him over 30 years in the field and counts shooting and fishing as two of his favourite pastimes. From grand sites steeped in history like our back to back trip at Snowdonia to smaller more intimate locations such as the family run shoot at Carrog, offering an exceptional standard of birds and full hospitality. Maybe a trip to Upperwood to shoot Grouse on the breath-taking moors where birds fly fast and furious followed by a 400 Partridge Day on hill sides where birds are in abundance offering a truly traditional experience with exceptional views

Cranford Estate, a 1,000-acre Northamptonshire estate, is easily accessible from London (90 minute drive) and located between Oundle and Kettering. The estate consists mainly of arable farmland but with numerous woods and also rewilded ironstone quarry. Cranford Hall itself is the seat of the Robinson family and has been in the family ownership since its construction in the 18th century. The shoot is not a "commercial" shoot with the focus purely on large scale game rearing and excessively high bag numbers. We pride ourselves on managing the Estate sympathetically for game but also encouraging biodiversity over peripheral farm habitats. More information on the Estate can be found on our website.
