This is a very special opportunity to shoot ducks like no other. With exceptional numbers already flighting in, it bodes to be an an epic spectacle. Shooting various ponds and lakes through the season, we offer quality flights, shooting from purpose built butts that are either sunken or camouflaged free standing units (no getting wet in the reeds!). Shooting starts mid afternoon through to sunset with various species of duck such as Mallard, Tufted, Teal and Wigeon. ALL DUCKS ARE WILD we do not release any. Bags can be up to 100 duck per flight. Complimentary brace of birds per gun, although the whole bag is available by negotiation. Accommodation and tuition available. Non toxic, fibre wad only. Walked up / Rough days: For teams of up to 5 guns, shooting over dogs, covering varying ground such as woodland, copses, wetlands, hedges, headlands, watercourses and ditches for pheasant, duck, snipe, woodcock, rabbit, hare, pigeon and any vermin that presents. PLEASE ENQUIRE WITH DATES THAT SUIT YOU! **Cefngwyn Hall** shoot was set up by **Charles Grisedale** on his farm showing quality driven duck over a variety of habitats, now entering our 50th season! All days are run by Charles. A few miles inland, the shoot is situated on floating bog, marshland/wetland, grassland. There are 45+ ponds and lakes on the shoot making it ideal habitat for duck. We charge a flat rate for our days. Teams (10) can expect to fire 1,000 - 1,200 shots over the day. Most teams fire more it depends on the pace you go at. In our eyes a competent team should be achieving a bag of 300 birds based on the shot count. Bags typically range from 220 to 400, the wildfowl are always the same - brilliant. It's really just up to the team of guns and their ability! **NO OVERAGES !!! If a good team of guns are shooting well and not pricking the birds that are too far away, we see it as a pleasure to watch and would rather see a few more in the bag.** Guns meet in the house by 09.30 for coffee, up to three drives take place in the morning. Lunch is provided, usually beef from our award winning grass fed South Devon cattle. Our cattle are born, raised, hung and butchered on site. Two drives follow in the afternoon, with tea/coffee (or something stronger) and home made cakes to end the day. Due to location most wildfowl on the west coast call in throughout the season. As the habitat on the shoot is ideal for duck, species seen can include: Mallard, Teal, Widgeon, Pintail, Shoveler, Tufted duck, Goldeneye, Canada goose, Greylag. Birds are selectively reared on site at our well established game farm that has a Nationwide reputation for producing the **highest/wildest flying duck available**. Birds are released on the pools in the early summer months long before the season from as young as 3 weeks old and as early as May! This allows the birds to join the large numbers of **wild duck** on the ponds, and are reared in the wild with zero human contact. This allows the birds to become high flying, challenging ducks that don't look back ! Truly unlike any driven duck you will have shot and seen before, **NO TAME CIRCLING DUCK HERE !!!** You will not find yourself out on a peg in an open grass field with tame birds circling you for another go, quite the opposite. Ducks fly high and fast from all directions, fast reloading and quick barrels are needed. Truly sporting birds that are a pleasure to shoot and watch going over the line of guns. **£1,000 per gun** for the 26/27 season. Welcome to Bob Glynn Sporting I don't know where I got the nickname (woodcock Bob) from my Game Keeper on Angelsey I suspect. We specialise in Woodcock and other wild birds over 5 in-house shoots, its taken a lot of hard work to pull together within a 50 mile radius suitable grounds that my clients can enjoy high quality wild game. I also have a large deer stalking operation which is 18 years old now and we have 50 plus blocks of accessible grounds UK wide. If you want to hunt Wood pigeon we have a lot of in house grounds in the midlands North Wales and North West of England. We send clients to Morocco, Bulgaria, Crimea, Slovenia, Hungary Croatia,Serbia for Woodcock Wild Boar dove and pigeon plus quail over pointers. We have walked up and over pointers in the North of `Scotland around Strathpeffer Inverness area. **Woodcock** The Woodcock is small and fast and lifts when disturbed sometimes you nearly step on them other times they flush in the distance . At short range they challenge your reactions, at medium range then they challenge your accuracy and aim. They are without doubt, worth the challenge, and will put a smile on your face. Woodcock migrate across from Europe and knowing when and where they are coming is something that can only come with experience. We have many woodcock shoots through out the UK please ask for further details or go to our web site. **Wood pigeon** We have many good wood pigeon areas in house and in co-operation from £100 per day DIY and guiding decoy equipment and assistance you will pay based oil how many guns are shooting ie - 6-8 guns £120. single gun is £185 a day **Deer stalking** Deer stalking over many blocks in UK for experienced stalkers or beginners we can train you in house, sort your FAC application and variations with the Police - annual cost at £750.00 per annum. but this includes 10 days walked up in cost for a walked up membership. ***Walked Up*** its £450.00 all memberships include pigeon hunting on our grounds free. and fly fishing on selected beats - Brown trout - so great added value. and a day would see 25-50 mixed birds over a number of drives and walked areas its really similar to a good boundary day and you know how much a boundary day costs. ***Wild Duck and Geese*** We have a number of areas where we can give you excellent chances on these birds from `Pink feet to Grey lag and Canadas. Midlands North Wales Southport - Flights from. £130 gees £100 for duck per gun. **Fly fishing*** Fly-fishing on some private waters and we offer full and varied packages for everyones taste. The proprietor is a GAIA Level 2 instructor so we can provide coaching and an excellent corporate day for up to 10 persons for a reasonable £700 per day cost including food and alcoholic drinks. Also we take annual trips to Slovenia for Marble trout - Big wild rainbows Ireland for a salmon break on the Munster Blackwater (instruction included) with brown trout fishing on the Nore or Suir. - Bone fishing in Belize and big GT's on the Farquar Atoll - Yellow fish in SA. Corwen Forest is a well-established pheasant shoot (with a few partridges) located near Corwen in North Wales. The shoot is set in rolling hills and conifer woodland with many drives having outstanding views over the Dee Valley. Drives such as Moor, the Bank and Big Rock can provide very high birds, and well located cover crops contribute to a day which may test the ability of even the most experienced of shots. The shoot extends to over 3000 acres and as well as formal driven days there are opportunities for organised walked up days and mini-driven days. Access to most drives is via forestry roads with reasonable walking to pegs. A 4x4 is preferable but, with care, two wheel drive vehicles with good ground clearance can usually cope. A typical driven day starts with bacon rolls and coffee, during which the guns will receive a safety talk and draw pegs. Moving off at around 09:30AM there will be some three drives before refreshments in the field. A further drive or two in the afternoon should see the bag achieved. The day draws to a close with coffee and biscuits or a meal if preferred. Hotel accommodation is available in nearby Llangollen and Corwen. Guns with their own dogs are very welcome.
