About pheasant shooting in monmouthshire

Guns travel from across the world to sample what shoots in Wales have to offer and they are rarely disappointed by the high pheasants that are presented. Powys is the most densely populated region when it comes to driven shooting, but high-quality pheasants can be found in all corners, from Snowdonia to the Brecon Beacons. When booking a day, make sure you ask the shoot for a cartridge recommendation as you may need to go down a shot size for these extreme pheasants.

Campston Hill Shoot

Monmouthshire, United Kingdom

A fantastic location in the shadows of the black mountains providing some rolling hills, valleys and banks from which we produce some excellent sporting birds. A mixture of open ground and woodland drives including well positioned game crops are the perfect terrain for naturally challenging birds. All the drives are located within a short walk or gun bus ride. We have one duck drive which produces some excellent sporting driven duck, but is optional for those who wish to shoot and can be discussed with keeper. The excellent quality pheasants released on our shoot are produced from our own laying stock of naturally highflying breeds and hatched and reared on farm.
