Pheasant
Woodcock

A fantastic high setting overlooking the spectacular Sugar Loaf Mountain.

Deep valleys below the woodland and game crops are the perfect terrain for naturally challenging birds.

The shoot is contained within a continuous boundary and all drives are located within a short walk or trailer ride.

The atmosphere is friendly and informal.

The owner/keeper is very experienced and will do his upmost to give his guests an enjoyable day.

All days are tailored to suit the parties individual requirements.

A normal day would start with meeting for a traditional breakfast at the nearby Old Pandy Inn at around 8.30am.,moving up to the shoot for a safety briefing and outline of the days plan at 9.30 am .After four drives soup and refreshments are normally taken and are followed by a further two drives depending on requirements, with a finish at approximately 3.30pm, allowing plenty of time for birds to go to roost.

Dinner is available following shooting at The Old Pandy Inn or drinks for that essential post match analysis!

Record for 2012/13 season was 130-120 birds per shoot as requested by teams over 9 days.

Mr Richard Hakes

Just returned from this splendid shoot, located in some of the most beautiful countryside around. Wonderful drives, a first class keeper and a beating team who worked tirelessly. Our group of guns will certainly be returning to this shoot. 4th Dec 2011.

Our Bristol based roving syndicate has shot here over many years and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The views are absolutely stunning and provide the best backdrop to a challenging days shooting. There is a good variation of drives, with snap shooting in the woodland and classic high bird drives.
