The **BOGNIE** shoot is located at Forgue in rural Aberdeenshire, and is based on a private family estate, who can trace their links to the land back to the 12th century. The shoot covers approximately 13,000 acres, of rolling farmland and woods and provides a variety of excellent driven pheasant and partridge shooting along with some duck and walked up shooting. The shoot have over 45 acres of game crops and over 20 named drives. The drives are many and varied emanating from either cover crops or woodland. The addition of partridges to some of our signature drives has proved to be a huge success, with guns having to contend with rocketing pheasants and jinking partridge on the same drive. Driven days start with a warm welcome, coffee and bacon rolls and a briefing for the team. Refreshments and lunch are provided during the day. A typical day will normally consist of four or five drives with time between drives to chat to friends and relax. The shoot caters for corporate parties, private roving syndicates, small parties and individual guns, as well as providing walked up days. We also have a syndicate on the shoot where occasionally guns or half guns become available. We have been running the shoot for over 30 years and our aim is to provide a relaxed safe and thoroughly enjoyable days shooting for our guests. Guns are welcome to bring their dogs and if required we can help with arrangements for overnight accommodation for travelling parties

**Candacraig Estate, Strathdon** Candacraig Estate is located near Strathdon in Aberdeenshire and is within the beautiful surroundings of the Cairngorms National Park. The Estate is made up of mainly forestry and farmland.The primary shooting on the estate is driven pheasants but we can also offer duck at the end of a day. Pheasant bags offered normally range from 120 to 200 birds per day. The pheasant shoot is stretched across the estate and involves various different driven drives which can offer some challenging birds. Birds are shown from different woods, as well as some game crops. Gun pegs at each drive are easily accessible and gun numbers are normally eight. The shoot is run by the two estate gamekeepers who are well experienced. Transport is in the form of a converted army land rover ambulance and this can be offered on the day to transport the guns from drive to drive if requested. The running of the day is normally the following: * 9:00- Meet * 9:30– Start the days shooting * 11:00- Refreshments and a bite to eat (Gun’s provide this themselves) * 11:30– Continue Shooting * 13:00– Lunch (A simple Lunch is offered in the cosy gun room at Greystone, alcohol should be brought by the Guns if required) * 14:00– Start the afternoon’s shooting * 15:30– End of the day and the Guns are offered a brace of Pheasant to take away with them. The estate itself is unable to offer accommodation, but we are happy to help with this and there are a number of suitable places to stay nearby such as the Colquhonnie Hotel and the Kildrummy Hotel. After your enjoyable day you are invited to have an evening meal in the castle then either relax in front of the open fire in the Gold room or in the hot tub.  Drumtochty castles game shooting offers pheasant, partridge and duck shooting, you and your guests will be out on the estate with the castles gamekeeper. Your team of guns can be a minimum of 2 guns up to a maximum of 10 guns. You and your team will shoot through the castle woods, game crops and the castles famous Whin banking where you may get the chance to test your shooting at snipe and woodcock. On your shoot day you will be charged only for what game you shoot (£25 per bird)and for the hire of a maximum of 2 beaters (£35 per beater).   Simulated game days can be arranged for 4-10 guests, half days and full days can be arranged. Guests will be given the chance to shoot at 300-500 clay targets per drive they will range from high targets to lower high speed targets. Simulated game days are ideal for the sportsman during the close season. Half days cost £130 per person , Full days cost £200 per  person.  Drumtochty Castles sister estate Reraig Forest, offers Red Deer stalking on Scotland's West coast.
