The shoot is sited in 10,000 hectares of stunning countryside with mixture of hill, farmland, forestry and mature woodland. Bowhill also supports the rivers Yarrow and Ettrick, two of the main leader rivers to the famous Salmon River the Tweed. These rivers are responsible over the ages for creating steep sided hills that offer famous drives such as Black Andrew, Whitefield, Kershope and many new drives that will be put into action this coming season.
