Located in the Heart of the picturesque Scottish Borders, The Muirhouse Syndicate offers an exquisite Bijou shoot to suit all tastes.

Lovingly developed for the past seven years by Iver Salvesen and his family, Muirhouse demonstrates their admiration for the beautiful landscape and wide variety of Wildlife. Fantastic naturally occurring topography, enables, Pheasant and Partridge to be a test for even the most discerning shot, this combined with generous Scottish hospitality guarantees we can offer you a great weekends sport.

Through the season we see a variety of sport from our main season driven days for Pheasant, Partridge and Mallard, to Wild Teal flighting in September and Roe Deer in Early May.

Once you have worked up an appetite in the countryside, you can retire to the Long Room. Our candlelit dining hall is ideal for reliving the day over a glass or two with a fine home cooked meal, of locally sourced food.

In addition to our dining room we also have 2 cottages on the farm available to shooting parties. The Mill house is 4 bedroom luxury barn conversion, which sleeps 8 to 10 adults in all the comforts, it come complete with an aga and is positioned right in the heart of the farm. Our other cottage Clachan is a 3 bedroom traditional farm cottage, which sleeps 6 adults and is tucked away in a secluded spot behind the farm. Staying at Muirhouse can extend your days shooting to a weekend of fun allowing you to sit back and relax at the end of your busy day.
