***Join our Syndicate Days*** The Highfield Estate, renowned for its formal shoot over the past 30 years, spans 1,000 acres across the Wharfe Valley, opposite the famous Ilkley Moor. It features undulating woodland, valleys and grazing land, with game crops such as mustard, stubble turnip, and kale. The land varies from the lowland river levels of the river wharfe cutting through the the spa town of Ilkley to the moorlands and reservoirs above the town at 850ft above sea level The estate is fully keepered by Colin who has managed the conservation of highfied for the past 24 years. Colin is supported by his son "Daniel"and daughter-in-law "Victoria" who live on the estate and a dedicated team with their dogs, who are essential for the shoot’s operations.

Ledsham shoot is part of the Ledston estate split across north Yorkshire and west Yorkshire offering fine shooting in an idyllic part of country with a friendly atmosphere,  Ledston Hall which is in the heart of the shoot featured in the television show "Most Haunted:Live" and was given the name "Wheler Priory" Ledsham is a village and civil parish 4 miles north of Castleford and 11 miles east of Leeds split across the county of north and west Yorkshire . The village is close to the A1 Great North Road, and is accessible from the M1, M62 and the A64. The day starts off in one of our local Inn,s "The Chequers" where you will enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast in A pub that dates back to the early 1600s and is one of the oldest traditional pubs in Yorkshire and England. Over the years very little has changed and many of the traditional Yorkshire pub features are still in use. Low beams, alcove rooms, roaring open fires and trinkets collected throughout the pub’s rich history all add to its unique atmosphere and character. situated in one of Yorkshire’s most beautiful villages, with a selection of regional ales. You will then enjoy a morning of quality driven birds at a leisurely pace breaking for lunch back at The Chequers inn. in the afternoon you will then do further drives. A range of alcoholic and nonalcoholic refreshments provided throughout the day. We offer 'let days' with bags consisting of 175 pheasant and partridge fielding 8/9 guns. Game bird shooting is not a new concept for the small village of Methley here in the heart of West Yorkshire. We felt that now was a great time to encourage more people to enjoy this outstanding landscape and so opened up our 3500 acres of agricultural and woodland for many more to enjoy. We offer a variety of shooting days to suit those with an active interest in game bird shooting and wildfowling. We aim to offer a number of dates through the shooting season, at a realistic price offering driven days of up to 100 birds including, Pheasant, Partridge, Woodcock, Duck & Goose. Our days are based on a team of 9 guns which can be booked either as a full team or individually and include hospitality.
