Based in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park the Yorkshire Clay Company was rebranded in 2023 after Edd & Poppy Morrison purchased the renowned Kingfisher Simulated Game business that had been running for a number of years previously at Bolton Estate. Yorkshire Clay Company provides its clients the very best in Simulated Game shooting in North Yorkshire, offering the opportunity to shoot a vast array of different drives over both Swinithwaite & Bolton Estates - or we can come to you with our own traps and set a day up on any ground you like... We shoot on named drives that have been tailor made for driven game shooting over the past 30+ years. The rugged landscape and cliff edges allow the team at Yorkshire Clay Company to produce what we think are some of the most sporting and highest clays available - if you don’t believe us, come and try it out! We offer a range of different days to suit each client’s specific needs, from simulated driven grouse days to traditional simulated game days using named partridge/pheasant drives with some of the highest clays to test even the very best of shots! We offer packages with full hospitality and also packages with "no frills" beers and pies on the go if your more interested in the shooting and not the lunch!

Lying in the Valley of Coverdale, the Agglethorpe Estate is just north of Middleham in the Yorkshire Dales, 9 miles south of Leyburn and adjacent to the “Tup Gill Estate” which is home to the famous Forbidden Corner and Saddle Room Restaurant. We are delighted to offer this unique opportunity to try simulated driven game shooting as part of our Corporate Days package with hospitality in conjunction with the Saddle Room on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th of June shooting 750 clays across 5 stands. Sunday 6th June sees our Open Competition Day where teams will shoot 500 high and challenging targets over 5 fantastic drives throughout the estate. This day is in aid of local charities, with prizes for the Top Male, Female and Junior teams. All our drives have been carefully selected and set up by Erik Aaron and his experienced team who professionally run many simulated clay days and competitions across the country. Numbers are limited for each day so teams MUST PRE BOOK + PAY ahead of the event. This will enable us to stagger the starting times throughout the morning Fri 4th & Sat 5th June Corporate Days Teams of 4 people Full package: £400 + vat (£480) per team Pre registering and payment required Format for the day: - Meet for breakfast at the Saddle Room, Tup Gill Park - Chaperoned to first stand (staggered start time slots) - 750 driven clays over 5 drives - Return to the Saddle Room for Lunch - Depart Sun 6th June Open Competition Teams of 4 £360 per team 500 targets over 5 stands Pre registering and payment required - car park location will be sent to pre registered teams, no walk ins or spectator sadly due to covid restrictions Format for the day: - In aid of local charities - Staggered start time (allocated on first come first choice) - Catering in attendance - Prizes for Top Team, all Female team and Junior under 16 team (supervised) Additional info: Eye and ear protection MUST be worn in the shooting area at all times on all days Face masks will be needed for the corporate days when entering the Saddle Room before being seated. At least one member of each team must have a current shotgun license Numbers are limited each day so teams MUST PRE BOOK + PAY before the event. We offer some of the highest fastest clays any where. You will never know how good you are till you try us. A day shooting is based on driven game shooting. We meet for breakfast then shoot two drives then we usually do drinks and nibbles, two more, then lunch. After lunch we move to some really fast drives that will put a bruise on your cheek. We then finish off on our showpiece drive to send you home with a smile on your face! We usually end up back in the pub for a meal and a few drinks and a laugh. The price for our top package is £250 a gun that includes everything but we can talior the price and sport to your requirements. Gun hire is free if required and transport from nearest station can be arranged. We also have a private airfield on site if you really want to make a special day we can fly you here. We shoot six days a week, not Sundays. Please look at our website its not very good but it was cheap. We will have a photographer on site to record your day in some of the most beautiful surroundings Yorkshire has to offer.
