Dougarie Estate is located on the Isle of Arran and has various packages from driven days through to rough days. The Estate is made up of varied terrain and has breath-taking views in all directions. As featured on Tom Straker's Game Eater films under Pheasant (Episode 8) and Mallard (Episode 6). We shoot back to back driven days on Fridays and Saturday from the beginning of November through to the end of January. We also offer partridge only days in October. The main driven days tend to be best suited for parties of minimum of 8 guns and the number of birds taken very much depends on the standard of shooting, however our aim is to provide bags between 120 to 200 birds per day. Guns will usually get around the estate in their own 4WD vehicles. Please contact us as we are always delighted to discuss potential options with those looking to make a booking.

With over 2000 acres of Ayrshire parkland, woodland and rolling meadows, Carnell Estates provides a magnificent setting for a shooting party. The Carnell Shoot is well over a 100 years old. The 15th century main house is renowned for its luxury accommodation, great hospitality and fun. Sitting within spectacular gardens the house is very private. A main day usually consists of three drives, 11s around the fire-pit by the main house, out for a further drive before returning to the house for drinks then lunch. After lunch, we try to get in two drives but on days with shorter light, it may be one. Bags vary between 200-500 per day. With quality, high driven pheasants and partridges, back to back days can be arranged with over night accommodation in the house. The house is comfortably furnished with elegant, log-fired reception rooms. There are 10 bedrooms for guests with king or twin beds each having its own bathroom. Next season, we will be offering a few mini-driven days in the outside woods with bags from 70-150 birds per day for up to 8 guns. The Estates have been home to the Findlay Family for several hundred years and now home to Micky Findlay and his partner Adrienne Eastwood. They are both on hand to ensure fantastic hospitality is had whether for a group of friends or a corporate day.

Medium shoot. Put down around 500 poults. Three main pheasant pens and three duck ponds, the ground is relatively flat and not a huge amount of walking is needed. Shoot is all on one farm so a 4x4 is not needed. There is 8 fantastic drives with a good mix of high pheasants also a lot of woodcock, each shoot your getting the chance of average to shoot a 5 woodcock at least form November. After shoot is done if weather is ok we also do a evenings duck shooting. This year we are looking into putting in a game crop or possible two. Very friendly buch of lads. All working individuals whom enjoy a good chat and shoot. We meet up once a month during the off season for work party's and fox shoots. We also have a annual AGM in the local pubs in Ayr for a meet and drinks. Also try to fit in with the nice weather and before the pheasants arrive a clay shoot, archery and a bbq. Shoots are held on a Wednesday from 0930hrs till around 1400hrs. Shoot almost every two weeks. Price is £350 per season and dogs are most welcome. Any queries please don't hesitate in contacting me.
