Set in 6000 acres of stunning N. Wales countryside, Hanmer Shoot incorporates two estates - Hanmer and Gredington which are run as one. We offer 100 - 300+ bird partridge days,pheasant days, mixed days, which could also include a duck drive and mini driven days. Driven partridge days cost £45 per bird and driven pheasant days are £45 per bird also. Here at Hanmer we offer clients well driven partridge and pheasants at an affordable cost. We are a sporting club, so can offer VAT free shooting once a member (£10/ person for a day’s membership) We have over 30 named drives from both wooded valleys to cover crop drives. These combined with the natural topography of our countryside, set the scene for a stunning days sport. We pride ourselves in our ability to accommodate all of our guests and offer a professional, well run day out. We can provide transport around the shoot, even taking you right up to your peg, should you require this. A typical days sport here at Hanmer begins with a coffee and a pre-shoot briefing. Mid-morning a substantial field-break is provided either in the field or the gunroom. The shoot is very accessible as it is on the Welsh/Cheshire/Shropshire border. Llanarmon is one of the most exclusive, high pheasant shoots in Wales. Situated in Ceiriog Valley we have some of the finest and most famous drives in the UK including Precipice Wood, Stynog, Hafod Adams, and the Pool. We have two days available in October for 300 birds. The day consists of coffee on arrival at the towers, two-course lunch with fine wine and tea, and champagne at the end of the day. There is also outstanding accommodation in Llanarmon village, either at the Hand, Llanarmon or the West Hotel, Llanarmon.

Mainly woodland shoot, the ground covers around 400 acres, producing pheasant and excellent winter woodcock, located on the banks of the River Dee.  This is a syndicate shoot, shooting predominantly Saturdays, every other, throughout the season.  A small DIY shoot, we have put down 900 birds this season looking to shoot 40/50 birds a day.  The ground consists of small wooded areas together with a large block of woodland benefiting from some lovely high banks and gulleys producing some stunning birds, birds that really belong on a high driven day! Later in the season woodcock often enter the quarry list on a regular basis (13 shot in 1 day last season) Looking to let 2 guns on each day.  Paying guests will stand all day, with the possibility of an evening wild duck flight at no extra cost.  Bacon rolls and elevenses provided but guns to bring own lunch. A day consists of morning meet and greet with safety briefing followed by 2 drives, elevenses (port and sausages) 1 drive, lunch and then a further 2 drives.

We generally shoot eight syndicate days per season, plus there is an opportunity to shoot extra days.
