Duck shooting in Herefordshire

We are a long established syndicate shooting Saturdays near Pembridge (Leominster). We have occasional pegs available where a member cannot make the day. Cost is £1,000 for a c200 bird day (10 guns). No overage. All members have many years experience and enjoy the variety that the shoot presents, which is predominantly pheasant but also with some fast partridge and occasionally some duck. Lunch at the local pub, The New Inn (nothing new about it as it is over 300 years old!), is part of the day with excellent local fare.

_This is a good friendly shoot run by husband and wife. We have been doing this for a few years now. My husband is headkeeper on a different estate and im looking after this whilst our children are still young. We shoot over 3000 acres of woodland in the exceptionally beautiful countryside of herefordshire. We sell 100- 150 bird days. We have shooting days still to let in December and January. December- Monday 3rd, Wednesday 12th, Saturday 22nd. January- Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 10th, Thursday 24th. Our typical shoot day consists of two drives in the morning and then a break for soup and cake(provided) we will then go on and do two more drives then retire to a local in for a hot lunch(also provided), we will then go on and complete the day with two final drives. This shoot is situated in Herefordshire not far from Leominster.  Shooting over 1000 acres which consists of woodland, pools and game covers.  The ground is quite undulating. The bag is expected to be up to 100+ We shoot 8 days a season which are all Saturdays. There will be up to 9 drives.  There are plenty of snipe, woodcock and wild duck on the shoot.  Meet at 9 am and have coffee and tea before the first drive which is approximately 10 am.  We stop for lunch around 12 pm to 1 pm.  Lunch is not provided so bring your own packed lunch, but plenty of tea and coffee will be provided.
