We are a long established syndicate shooting Saturdays near Pembridge (Leominster).
We have occasional pegs available where a member cannot make the day. Cost is £1,000 for a c200 bird day (10 guns). No overage.
All members have many years experience and enjoy the variety that the shoot presents, which is predominantly pheasant but also with some fast partridge and occasionally some duck.
Lunch at the local pub, The New Inn (nothing new about it as it is over 300 years old!), is part of the day with excellent local fare.
Hospitality
Guns are looked after with tea and coffee on arrival and mid morning drinks and snacks. Lunch is taken at the local pub (c£30 cash payable at the time). Tea is provided, as well as drinks, if required, to complete the day. Game is provided at th end of the day.
Topography
A great variety with rolling hills, woods and traditional partridge, driven over hedges on flat land. We get around with relative ease, nothing too onerous, from a walking point of view.
About the hosts
The hosts are farmers and look after the guns extremely well. The syndicate shoot has shot here for over 30 years.
