Located on the Cwm Rhaiader (meaning “valley of the waterfall”) Estate near the village of Machnylleth, in mid Wales, the Dyfi Falls shoot is a real gem. The shoot is a brand-new addition to our portfolio for the 2020/21 season and has never previously been shot over. This creates an immensely exciting prospect which we cannot wait to show our clients. Bringing you deep into the Welsh countryside, the beautiful long driveway on to the estate really sets the scene for your shoot day. As you pull up to our brand-new shoot lodge you will be able to see the stunning waterfall which sits at the head of one of the valleys. The waterfall will also form the centrepiece for a very exciting drive!
The postcode will take you past the shoot, however we will be erecting some signs to ensure our guests can easily locate the lodge.
Hospitality
We welcome teams from around the country, and indeed overseas, and can advise on or arrange local accommodation as required. We are also happy to arrange loaders, instructors, cartridges, gun hire and transport – please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Topography
The shoot is offering mixed days of Pheasants and Partridges, shown from a variety of covers including woodland, bracken covered banks and gamecovers. The steep sided valleys will allow us to present high-flying birds flying straight back to their home at the centre of the estate. However, the nature of the long sweeping valleys means there are swirling winds that will mean the lines of the birds could be quite deceiving. They will certainly keep our guests on their toes!
