Kintradwell is a traditional sporting estate on the east coast of Sutherland offering stalking for Red Deer, walked up Woodcock shooting for small parties and mixed rough days.  **Location.**  Approx 90 mins drive from Inverness Airport. Head North on the A9.  Nearest town; Brora. 2 miles. Offers a range of accommodation; hotel, B&B, self-catering cottages.  Nearest firearms dealer; Tain.  **Stalking. ** Kintradwell offers the opportunity to stalk Red deer on the open hill over 8,500 acres. We have availability for stags and hinds this coming season. The estate rises from the coast to a height of 1700ft and offers fantastic views out to sea. As you head inland and uphill views stretch out to Ben Hope & Loyal in the North West, the Cairngoms to the South and Morven to the North. The terrain is varied from rolling moorland by the coast to steeper and more challenging ground towards the West.  Rifles could expect one stag per day with the likely chance of a second given favourable conditions and a bit of luck.  All parties are accompanied by our full time stalker and will use an argocat to get out onto the hill. An estate rifle is available at no extra charge.  **Woodcock.** From Mid-November Kintradwell can offer exceptional Woodcock shooting for small parties. 2-3 guns is ideal. Shooting takes place on coastal ground, in young plantations and on the edge of the heather hill. Guests will be accompanied and dogs can be provided. Guests are welcome to work their own dogs.  Woodcock numbers fluctuate during the season with cold weather improving the shooting on the east Sutherland coast. If Woodcock are not around in large numbers we can mix up the day by covering some ground that holds Pheasant and Partridges.  **Accomodation. ** There is no accommodation available on the Estate. However, the town of Brora is only minutes away and offers a range of options. Dornoch is a 20 min drive with numerous hotels, pubs and restaurants. We can give specific advice on travel and accommodation if required.

Walked up woodcock shooting in the Strathnaver Valley. Self catered accommodation available for 3 people locally. Alternatively local hotel has availability before mid September. The local estate has a mix of low and higher ground, however, mostly the woodcock or on the low ground. The best shooting is from 1st Nov through until the end of January.
