Its location makes it an ideal place for mixed bag days, which provides us with boating as well as walking. 1.5 miles of broad shore that makes The Trinity Shoot an interesting wildfowl location. The lagoons and reservoirs offer exciting random wildfowl fun throughout the day Each and every day is unique! Remember its your day! Any given day can accommodate 2 - 8 Guns. Should you require accommodation there is a spectacular country fayre pub directly on the boundary of the shoot which offers fine country dining, luxurious accommodation as well as fully equipped luxury woodland lodges.

Situated in the heart of the Norfolk broads, 15 miles from both Norwich and Great Yarmouth and 2 miles from the coast, this **fully driven** shoot has been successfully established over 42 years offering mixed days to full teams and individual guns. The days are hosted by **Graham Grapes**, a local gamefarmer, along with his keeper and loyal beating and picking up team.  The shoot offers **125 bird days** with the bag containing predominately **pheasant** and **partridge**, although **duck, geese, woodcock** and **snipe** are frequently featured. The days consists of 5 to 6 drives incorporating maize, sorghum, wild bird and mustard cover crops, woodland, marsh and fen. With the shoot covering over 2500 acres, the days certainly provide you with a traditional Norfolk countryside experience.   The day begin at **8.15** at Sutton Staithe Hotel with bacon rolls and hot drinks on arrival. After meeting your host and receiving a short safety brief, the first drive commences following a short journey in the gunbus.  Full hospitality includes drinks plus homemade mince pies/sausage rolls mid morning, a light lunch out in the field, followed by a delicious two course meal back at the Hotel. Although the shoot provides its own picking up team, guns are most welcome to also bring their dogs along too. **The shoot prides itself in providing good value for money shooting, along with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. As a result several guns return year after year!** The cost for the day is £575 per peg, or £5750 for the day. There is **no** charge for overages.  **Duck flighting** is available from our 6 daily fed ponds, for individual guns or teams of 5. Waterfowl that are commonly shot during these flights includes **teal, mallard, gadwell** and **geese**. Pricing is currently at **£100 per gun**, with picker ups being provided. There are several local places to stay including the Sutton Staithe Hotel, Wayford Bridge Hotel and the Harnser ph which are both short distances from the morning meeting point. Several other shooting packages are also available with the driven days offered at the **Wayford and calthorpe shoot**. These not only include the duck flighting, but **boat sea fishing** and **deer stalking** also. Red, Roe, Chinese water and Muntjack deer are particularly plentiful, with morning and evening stalks both being possible accompanied by a guide.

With 2500 acres of stunning well maintained countryside, 6 established flight ponds this location naturally lends itself to attract golden plover, woodcock, snipe and wildfowl. We also love to round the day off with lots of additional sport which could include dusk pike angling using fly, spinner or bait. The private beach offers opportunities for sea angling. Under the estate deer management scheme we are able to cull from its expanding population of red, roe, muntjac and chinese water deer. This can enjoyed as a pre/post shoot activity. We can arrange a variety of accommodation and catering. On occasions we have had a marquee next to the beach with multi-course hot food and beverages. We have pleasant, warm and dry shelter in our wood burner heated shoot retreat to enjoy your lunch. Docking Lodge Estate is located in popular North Norfolk,just 7 miles from the coast and 5 miles from Burnham Market and Royal Sandringham. The majority of the estate is within a cereal and root crop rotation,however the shoot is over varied terrain and includes 47 acres of mature woodland and shelter belts supported by 35 acres of maize cover crops strategically placed to make the most of typography and show good sporting birds ,with pheasant flying home and French and English partridges bursting and flaring over hedge rows we have drives to test the best of shots. We also have a large resivoir which offers opportunities to shoot many species of wild duck including teal flaring over the guns amongst the partridge and pheasants a truly great drive which really gets the blood pumping.
