Our simulated game day is based in the northwest of England on the Lancashire and Yorkshire boarder, it is made up of 4 drives, incorporating the valleys landscapes to add variety to each drive with low and high birds. When you arrive a light breakfast will be served followed by elevenses and lunch with all drinks and refreshments included throughout the day. Alternative dates can be arranged for a full team.

Set amid the stunning fells of The Forest of Bowland in Lancashire, the terrain of the Meanley Estate make for some spectacular, challenging and varied simulated game days. Events at Meanley adopt the format of a traditional British Game day shooting. Days are based on a standard of 8 to 12 Guns, but we are able to cater for larger or smaller groups by arrangement. Meanley’s Simulated Game Clays are deployed from multiply launch points by a State-of-Art, computer-controlled system ensuring challenging & exciting drives – just like the real thing. Based upon the teams experience and weather conditions guests travel to carefully chosen drives around the estate and line up at pegs as they have been doing on Lancashire’s traditional shoot days for hundreds of years. Our action packed simulated game days are a great opportunity for a pre-season warm up or simply to enjoy a fun day with your guests and experience challenging targets. We are able to offer various packages, with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Drinks throughout endeavouring to make your day really enjoyable throughout.

We are a small, boutique company that specialise in simulated game shooting that host events over 12 months of the year across our estates in Lancashire. We boast 9 different locations and over 60 drives across our portfolio. We are the closest thing to driven game shooting. Shooting in the heart of the countryside, Driven Clay Company pride ourselves on shooting within natural beauty. We don't have permanent pegs, a club house or toilet block on site. We have no site... we rove across 8000 acres of moorland pegging drives out in the best possible locations. Don't be surprised if we stand you within an old ruin, a reed or river bed or in the depths of a valley for hellishly high pheasants, in a wood or beyond the crest of a hill. Effort and creativity is something we do not lack. Our pegs consist of a thumb stick peg in the ground to hand your jacket and cartridge bag on and a flexible bucket for your empties. We ensure the access to pegs is as easy as possible and offer a cartridge delivery service to your peg to help ease the weight! We offer events for up to 21 guns and run off 6 individual, oscillating Bowman Super Match 8000 traps. These traps are one of the most powerful on the market and were purchased completely new in 2018. We also have 2 x Bowman super match 2000 manual traps for those hard to reach areas that can make all the difference on a day. We build bespoke experiences to suit your needs, from a small 7 gun teams through to a 21 man event. Shotgun safety, Safety officer and Lantra loader qualified as a minimum, we are sure to deliver you a safe, exciting simulated game event. PAINT MINE WOODS SHOOTING GROUND Here at paint Mine Woods, we dedicate time and focus on creating top quality clay targets within our fantastic shooting ground, for our weekly walk on shoots, and also on our first class Simulated game days which are held throughout the vast estate. With this in mind, it is clear to see why we are known for being able to produce fantastic shooting for both the novice and the more experienced shots. WEEKLY WALK ON SHOOTS Our weekly walk on shoots are held every Sunday from 10am until 1pm and every Thursday from 2pm until 7:30pm. We have 5 different sporting stands ( to make a 50 bird round ) open throughout the woods each week and also a Compak sporting setup and Flush !! These walk on shoots are aimed at regular shooters but lessons can be pre-arranged for any novice wanting to " to have a go " SIMULATED GAME DAYS Paint Mine Woods Simulated days are truly second to none. With a friendly atmosphere, great food and fantastic shooting, these days really do have it all !! We have a variety of drives to use, in some cases, the guns are stood on pegs within woods and are shooting through breaks in the trees and in others, the guns will be stood on pegs in open landscape with plenty of opportunity to take in the incredible views. All of our Simulated drives have been designed carefully to create some fast, fun and exciting shooting. Our Simulated game days can cater for parties of 10 - 20 people each day. A typical day run on 10 guns will shoot up to 4000 clays over 4 or 5 drives during the day. Each drive is pegged for 5 guns. As 5 guns shoot the other 5 persons load for them then half way through the drive, a horn will sound and there is a change over break where the shooter and loader switch places for the other half of the drive. Simulated drives are excellent out of season practise for the keen game shooter, for people wanting to gain experience before going game shooting for the first time or for those who want to experience the full traditional days game shooting without shooting at birds. The days are run from February to the end of September, and we welcome single guns, as well as full team bookings, and all of our days include full hospitality - breakfast {bacon sandwich, tea/coffee] - elevenses - 2 course lunch inclusive of wine Accommodation can also be arranged if necessary, please inquire when booking. 4 x4 vehicles will be useful on these days. - High, fast driven simulated pheasant - The degree of difficulty of each drive can be tailored to suit team ability and experience.
