Guns wanted for syndicated 9 days of woodland Pheasant shooting (on Saturdays) near Droitwich, Worcestershire (Post Code WR9 0AE). Each day of shooting will usually consist of 8 drives (one of which will be a Duck drive) with a target bag of 30-40 Pheasant/Duck a day. We release 1000 Pheasant and 300 Duck each year and the shooting takes place on rides in the wood.
Nunnery wood is a large, beautifully maintained old-fashioned estate wood with a mix of Oak and Pine trees and contains considerable hills and valleys which makes shooting (and beating) challenging!
Roost shooting is available in the wood from Christmas onwards and syndicate members will have the right to fish the Carp Lake.
The price for a full-gun for the 2017/18 season is £950 (with £5 beaters tip each shoot).Half guns (5 days shooting) are also available at £500.Lunch is available at £7 a day.
Hospitality
A cooked lunch (normally a stew of some sort) and a pudding is available from the Keepers wife for £7.
Topography
It's pretty hilly so it helps if you enjoy a bit of exercise!
