Noverton shoot has been under the management of the Spilsbury family since 2004. It is located on the Brockhill Estate in Worcestershire. After 10 years of running the shoot as a commercial enterprise Noverton was returned to a syndicate shoot. The friendly syndicate shoot 12 days a year and we let 2-3 days to help out with costs. We are lucky enough to have a pretty cool licensed venue ion site with a purpose built wooden/glass shoot room with views overlooking the river Teme.
Hospitality
Bacon sandwiches and filter coffee are served in the morning pre shoot briefing. Elevenses are generally champagne and a light bite and then a light lunch is served in the field. A full home cooked meal is then served in the shoot room which includes a licensed bar. Wine would be included.
Topography
With 30 acres of game cover situated on decent grass banks, mature soft and hard wood woodland with steep valleys. Noverton has a reputation of producing a very high level of challenging sport and most days the shot ratio is well In excess of 5:1, even with our regular syndicate
About the hosts
Generally Tom the shoot manager would run the day, but if he’s shooting else where another experienced shoot member would host the day!
