The Badges Shoot

Set in the rolling countryside of Wiltshire, surrounded in history lies our shoot.  With woodland, cover-crops and our famous down lands there will be plenty to keep you shooting all year  Whether it is a driven or a walked up day during the winter months or a simulated game day during the summer, all can be catered for.

Days start off with a traditional meet with fellow guns, your host and your beaters, with tea and coffee.  Then we have an explanation of what we are doing during the day, we draw pegs, have a safety talk and then off we go!!  We have some nice morning drives with testing partridge and screaming pheasants.  Then dependant on your choice we can take a quick lunch in the field or head to a local pub for lunch, before venturing out onto our famous down land for some challenging afternoon shooting.  Then a quick de-brief at the end of the days shooting.  The lay out of the day could change due to the great British weather!

Simulated game days are just like the real thing exept you will get to fire 400 plus cartridges each and up to 6000 clays are in the air during the day. We do 5 drives, from partridge to pigeon to grouse and pheasant all totally different. Full hospitality is included. We shoot these days from April to August. 

Days can be tailored to your requirements; ideally for driven days 6-10 guns are required and for walked up days as little as 2 guns required, simulated guns can be between 10 and 18 guns. We welcome well behaved dogs and guests.
