Mount Orleans Shoot

Mount Orleans is a mixed arable and livestock farm covering nearly 500 ha in the North Wessex Downs. The Gamekeeper, Richard has run the shoot at Mount Orleans since 2011 and has an additional 36 years of experience running shoots prior to this. Richard's extensive knowledge and good hospitality has meant that most guns return year after year and advertising this year, is a first.

The sloping valleys adjacent to Collingbourne Wood along with the carefully curated landscape and good placement of game cover plots, ensures that each drive provides an exciting shooting experience for all.

The day will typically start with coffee and biscuits on arrival before heading out for the first two drives. Elevenses will then be served which comprises of a variety of drinks, soup and sandwiches etc. Depending on the size of the day, there will then be another 2-3 drives before returning to the shoot barn for a 3 course meal.

Mount Orleans shoot is friendly and welcoming and we would be happy to provide viewings and to tailor bag size (normally 100-150) and group size to suit the individual.
