New Estates for 2018

Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire

Belvoir offers the finest estate raised partridge, pheasant and duck.

Over the past 10 years, Estate Manager Phil Burtt and his team have continually upgraded Belvoir and nearby Croxton Park to ensure it remains one of the premier shooting estates in Britain.

With over 75 drives, Belvoir is suitable for all levels of experience with instruction and coaching for newcomers to the sport of shooting being their speciality.

To make your Belvoir experience and unforgettable one, they offer luxury packages including accommodation in the state rooms of the castle and fine dining prepared by their in-house chef. Bespoke entertainment such as wine and whisky tasting, casino nights and medieval banquets can also be arranged.

Specifically tailored sim days including shooting from realistic grouse butts are available all year round and include a BBQ at the infamous "Frog Hollow".

Heveningham Hall, Suffolk

The Heveningham Hall Shoot is run over the three Estates of Heveningham Hall, Sibton Park and Cockfield Hall.

Heveningham Hall is one of the oldest partridge shoots in Britain dating back to the 1800's.

Covering some 5500 acres of stunning Suffolk rolling countryside and set amongst Capability Brown parklands, Heveningham Hall with its 20 plus drives provides exceptional sport, suitable for the most accomplished Guns as well as those less experienced.

Outstanding 5-Star "Downton Abbey" style accommodation with 24/7 butler service is available at very competitive rates in Sibton Park Manor for shooting parties and their guests. Other luxurious accommodations exist within walking distance of the Manor House. Fine dining or other alternatives are available.

Balsham, near Six Mile Bottom, Suffolk

Situated less than 2 hours driving from Central London, Balsham Shoot with its 2,000 plus acres of rolling Chiltern Hills like topography and strategically planted woodlands and game cover, is a partridge shooters dream.

For the British partridge shooting purist, this has to be one of the finest shoots in the UK. Gamekeeper Tom Vestey, formerly of nearby Six Mile Bottom Shoot, has brought all of his experience across to Balsham Shoot to ensure the birds are both plentiful in the drives and well presented.

Guns are transported in a superb new trailer that offers both increased comfort and safety. Elevenses is taken in the field and a delicious 2 course meal at a local pub which also serves at the meeting and dispersal point for the day.
