Driven Partridge shooting on the edge of the rolling Marlborough Downs. With picturesque views towards Avebury and Calne.
The land is tailored to the quarry giving guns an opportunity to test themselves against fast and fleeting coveys of french partridge.
Hospitality
Drinks break after first two drives. Mixed Mezze lunch with homemade quiche and dessert/ cheese at half-time.
Topography
Rolling country with sharp wooded re-entrants. The area is completely accessible by vehicle even in inclement weather, however some pegs do require a walk uphill.
About the hosts
Sid Vincent has been organising driven shooting for 40+ years and has been running Berwick for the past 10. Very experienced keeper and shoot captain.
