Set in the High Weald area of Mid Sussex, an area of outstanding natural beauty consisting of Estate parkland, ancient woodland and woods planted 200+ years ago specifically for shooting. Hills, valleys and ghylls give a good variety of stands and variety. Some game crops used to add extra bird interest, and some wild partridge breed here each year with coveys seen on variors drives.

The syndicate shoot usually on Saturdays, but some weekdays. Landowner is the shoot captain and provides a 4x4 but some members also bring their own. Well behaved dogs allowed, fibre wad cartridges only, and experienced game shots welcome. We meet locally at 9am, move off by 9:20 and shoot till a break in the field for a mid-day snack. Shoot through till Lunch at 2:30pm, home cooked traditional fare with puddings and wine. Birds available in feather at end of day ( brace or 2 free ), and oven ready as available.

Target bags are usually 275 pheasant before Christmas and 225 afterwards. Price per gun includes lunch and shooting. NO VAT charged. New guns join our BASC registered club as a 'support member' and must either be BASC members or pay a £25 joining fee.
