Printwood Shoot has been established for 20 years and prides itself on being a friendly, affordable, informal family run shoot with great hospitality and some lovely birds and a fair few laughs! We are very lucky to have access to some amazing arable land with some lovely hills and over 60acres of woodland that both produce some fantastic driven birds. We also offer simulated games days with full hospitality in the spring months. 2023/24 Season With have have a few single pegs remaining to sell this season.
Hospitality
Coffee, tea and welcome drink on arrival followed by elevenses consisting of Prosecco and sloe gin with various cakes and biscuits. A Light lunch then follows and to finish the day it’s back to the house for home cooked 2 course meal with both guns and beaters and a few drinks.
About the hosts
Printwood shoot has been run by James and Anna for the past 15 years having taken it on from Anna’s father Michael who still hosts the guns. James is head keeper and assisted by local and well known dog trainer “handsome Bob”. We are proud to have raised a quite a few thousand pounds for national and local charity’s by donating tips, fines and sweep collections.

Arrived at 09:00 to be greeted by Mick ,to be treated to coffee & biscuits. We were fully briefed on the format of the day, Then off in the gun bus 1st Drive ,excellent. Then Elevenes .One more drive which was also very good .Then back to the farm for a quick bite of lunch. Four more drives later and day over. Then the evening meal for the whole of the guns, beating crews, pickers and all of the staff on the day. Excellent food as supplied by Anna .All wrapped up by 17.00 hrs.
