We believe a world class hunting experience should be equally matched with first class amenities. Our 14,000 sqft lodge is purposefully designed to be as enjoyable as the hunt itself. Our spacious double occupancy bedroom suites are designed with both comfort and functionality in mind. Each suite features two queen-size beds one on the lower level and one on the upper level. Every room includes a private restroom with a walk-in shower, ensuring convenience and privacy throughout your stay. Whether you're resting between hunts or relaxing for the evening, our suites offer the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

We believe the experience should extend far beyond the hunt itself. Our lodge offers luxury all-inclusive accommodations designed to create an unforgettable stay for both hunters and non-hunters alike. The lodge features incredible suites, comfortable gathering spaces, a game room, hot tubs, outdoor entertainment areas, and exceptional dining, creating the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation after a day in the field. We host a limited number of guests at a time (4-8) to ensure every group receives a personal, high-quality experience. All of our packages are fully all-inclusive, covering lodging, meals, guides, transportation during the hunt, and hunting experiences. The only items not included are hunting licenses/credentials and gratuities.

Shooters can expect true Central Flyway hunting at its best. Our waterfowl hunts are fast-paced, highly interactive, and built around large volumes of migratory ducks and geese working naturally into decoy spreads across the water. Depending on the time of season, guns should expect everything from high-flying honkers finishing over fields to tight-working mallards dropping into small water and river systems. The shooting can range from relaxed early-season decoying birds to late-season educated flocks that demand quick reactions, good calling, and disciplined shooting.

We hunt a diverse range of terrains to maximize our hunting opportunities. This includes the Platte River, The Loop Rivers, Calamus River, Warm Water Sloughs, Dry Fields, and Flooded Corn Fields.

Conservation is a core part of who we are and how we operate. We actively partner with organizations like Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever to help improve and preserve habitat across Central Nebraska. Much of the land we hunt is carefully managed to support healthy waterfowl populations, upland birds, and the overall ecosystem through wetland preservation, native grass management, food plots, and responsible land stewardship practices. Our goal is not simply to provide great hunting today, but to ensure these resources remain healthy for future generations of hunters and outdoorsmen.

Originally settled in the late 1800s by close family friends, the Brown family has been hunting the very land River Lodge Outfitters now rests on for over 100 years. As a family-owned business, we take pride in creating experiences that feel both personal and unforgettable, going the extra mile to ensure every adventure surpasses the last. Your hosts throughout the experience will be members of the Brown family and the River Lodge team, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and professionally guided. RLO offers a round-trip shuttle service from Kearney Regional Airport (EAR), which is approximately a 30-minute drive from the Lodge.
