A mix of open hill and forestry requiring a decent level of fitness. We can accommodate high-seat shooting if necessary

• Red Deer - stags and hinds
• Sika Deer - stags and hinds
• Roe Deer - both bucks and does

Guests will take a test shoot at 100 meters at a target to prove their ability.

You will use the estate rifle, a Sako S20 in .270

We encourage guests to stay locally the night before, and we will head out to the hill after breakfast. The first stop is the range to prove your shooting ability, then we will start stalking.

Lunch will be eaten on the hill, so do take a packed-lunch. Once we get your stag or hind, you can choose to continue at an extra cost per animal or call it a day. We will come in the truck and pick up the beast together before heading back to the accommodation.

Yes of course, non-hunting guests can come along and observe the stalk. We try to involve the observers as much as possible but we do ask them to stay back for the final shot to reduce movement and risk spooking the animal.

Pickup from Inverness Airport or Kinbrace train station available.

Recommended to stay at Garvault House which will include breakfast, dinner and a packed lunch is available
