What is simulated game shooting?
The Game shooting season ends in February, so this is a way for shooting friends, family and colleagues to get together outside of the shooting season at their leisure, to practise their shooting skills, which as we all know is important if you wish to keep your skill up, as when the season ends most game shooters don’t pick the gun up again until the following season.
(usually simulated days are run from February to August)
Simulated game shooting days are organized and run in much the same way as the traditional pheasant or grouse shooting syndicates, with all the same great traditions associated with game shoots.
Dress code is generally accepted as being a lot more casual than the usual tweeds.
All the trimmings such as good home cooked food and drink are provided.
The etiquete of shooting only your own birds is actively discouraged this all adds to the fun of the days shooting.
Another great advantage with simulated game shooting is you always exceed your bag limit by four or five times, as the birds always show up on time at each drive “guaranteed” with no extra cost.
We have estates within an hour and 10 minutes drive from the centre of London, and the surrounding counties with great hotels and B&B’s for those people that wish to make a weekend of it in the beautiful countryside
Hospitality
You will arrive at 9.30am where you will be greeted in the car park by your host Richard Mumford who will escort you from the car park to the shooting area where you will be given tea, coffee and and a bacon rolls.
