Newbell's is a friendly syndicate shoot. Situated in MId-Suffolk. Shooting on 5 Saturdays from the end of October until the beginning of January. The shoot is well established and has been running for many years. Mostly Pheasant but can include Partridge and Duck. The expected bag is 100c.
Hospitality
The shoot supplies all tea and coffee, with a break for nibbles and a light hot lunch. Transportation to the drives is available. The shoot room is reasonably comfortable, with heating when required.
Topography
The shoot has a mixture of arable, pasture and woodland drives, with 6 coverts of Maize. With some surprises as the ground is not all typical of Suffolk flatlands.
Conservation Efforts
Game and wild bird feeding is conducted throughout the year. Strident efforts to be aware of predators are made and controls are in place for legal reductions. Diversionary feeding is being tried to attract Buzzards and Kite.
About the hosts
The Team is headed by Steve and assisted by Terry. Both of whom have been shooting on this ground for over 25 years.
