Melford Hall Estate

Melford Hall Estate are pleased to announce that they are offering Pigeon Shooting days across the estate, based in Long Melford, Suffolk.

The days are designed to be purely DIY days so you are more than welcome to bring the necessary Decoys, hide equipment you require.

There will only ever be a maximum of 6 guns on one day and the locations of these guns are designed to ensure that you all have the best advantage across the freshly drilled rape fields. No bag is specified, but you will be based across 350 acres of rape.

We require that all gun’s have a valid shot gun licence as well as BASC or equivalent insurance, you will be asked to provide this for verification prior to be allowing to shoot at Melford Hall Estate. If you are coming from outside the U.K. you will need a Visitors Shotgun Permit; a temporary gun license supplied by our local Police authority, which allows you to bring your gun into country. Please let us know in advance if this is the case.
