Over the past 20 years David Beardsmore alongside Head Keeper Oliver Davies have developed four exclusive sporting estates located on the Shropshire / Worcestershire borders giving them access to 20,000 acres and over 150 different drives during open season.

We specialise in pheasant shooting, partridge shooting, driven duck shooting and simulated game, providing challenging shooting in the beautiful Worcestershire/Shropshire countryside. We offer 100-400 bird driven days, which includes first class full hospitality in a number of different stunning locations.
Regardless of whether you are new to driven game shooting or a seasoned experienced shot, David Beardsmore Shooting will tailor make your day to ensure you have a first class driven game experience.
Hospitality
Hot bacon ciabatta rolls, tea, coffee, fresh fruit juice on arrival with delicious elevenses in the field. Table top lunch from the amazing in house chefs at Arley House Kitchen with an emphasis on local game and fresh seasonal produce. Chef's sausage rolls are legendary including pork, pickle and Arley Apple with ingredients sourced from the estate's orchards.
Complimentary wines are included with lunch which can be taken at award winning Arley House or in the field. Alternatively shoot through and enjoy a delicious dinner fireside in Arley House's purpose built shoot room or formal dining room, after drinks at the bar.
For a more relaxed occasion enjoy dinner and an an overnight stay at the estate's boutique hotel; The Grange at Arley, which can be optioned as part of your package.
Topography

I have shot a number of days over the year driven duck and pheasant later in the season. David’s days are excellent value and he is an absolutely fantastic host. Worst days shooting I've ever been on. Very unprofessional. Major lack of birds. Staff giving the impression they didn't want to be there. No control of the day. Dangerous shooting from others. The pheasants presented were on average head height. False advertising for the day. 'Professional' hospitality consists of cutting up a pork pie and sitting on your phone for the whole time. Host, what host?

Dave introduced me to driven shooting about 8 years ago. Since then I've never looked back. The severn valley is a longish drive for me, but I've found nothing else that's as good value for money in England or Scotland - fantastic birds and lots of them so you can be selective. I go about 10 times a year for driven game plus a couple of simulated days in the summer. Never had a bad day with Dave. All are great fun, generous hospitality and crisp organisation.
