Bagots Park is an ringfenced sporting, mixed farming estate, situated in rural Staffordshire, comprising drives of a mix of mature woodland and cover crops.
We are offer driven days of between 150 - 300 birds, roughly a 75/25 mix of partridge and pheasants at £52 per bird for Syndicate members and their guests, for between 8 and 10 guns.
We have a brand new shoot room in use for the 2023/24 season (see images).
Accommodation can be provided at Park Lodge (the shooting lodge), which is located in the middle of the estate, this can be provided on a self catering basis or with a chef provided and can be taken for either one or two nights for an extra charge.
Park Lodge has 7 double / twin bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, six bathrooms, hall, drawing room, dining room, sitting room, dog and gun room, kitchen and back kitchen.
The Coach House next door has two double en suite bedrooms as a further Annex. Snooker Room also available.

Hospitality
Bacon baps and coffee on arrival, a 'proper' Elevenses - sausages, bullshot, champagne, light lunch either in the field or in the shoot room (weather dependent), tea and cake after shooting. Drinks provided throughout the day on the back of the gun bus or guns can travel in their own 4x4.
Topography
In short it is good shooting country - rolling valleys run through the middle of the estate offering sporting birds throughout the day. This is not extreme high bird country but rather good, challenging driven shooting. Average team ratio is 4/1 throughout the day. Both partridges and pheasants present themselves very well from all drives and with a strong wind can be especially tricky...
About the hosts
Bagots Park is a family run shoot where we pride ourselves on our hospitality and are passionate about shooting and have always operated on a strictly word of mouth basis for selling days. The days will be hosted by either by a member of the famliy, a shoot captain or Sam, the Head Keeper. Please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Invited as a guest and it was perfect from start to finish. A nice range of drives, from open to really testing high birds in the woods, and with great hospitality, host and keeper, the day was most enjoyable and highly recommended (I bought subsequent days shooting).
