Our Unique Market Position

William Powell Sporting specialises in bespoke shooting to suit individual needs. Unlike almost every Sporting Agency in England, we have very close links with the largest firm of Sporting Land agents in the UK who manage sporting estates throughout the country. As a result we have direct access to some of the best shoots available. This includes Grouse, Pheasants, Partridges and mixed shoots.

One of the major advantages of hosting shoots on estates that we know really well is the ability to ensure that all of the client's needs are catered for. This includes accommodation, quality of the sport, catering, transport, etc. We are also able to have first refusal on this sport before it is offered onto the general market.

In addition, over the last 25 years we have built up extremely good relationships with many many other shoots up and down the country. At a time when many agents have literally gone to the wall, our relatively longevity give us considerable credibility in the market place. We are as a result able to access over 150 different shoots and are not bound to the availability of a few specific commercial shoots. The client’s requirements are absolutely paramount to us and there is no "shoehorning in"!

Bespoke Shooting Packages

We have a long history of arranging bespoke shooting packages for major international companies – both in the UK and abroad - whilst ensuring that all our days retain that special “private” atmosphere. Again our direct involvement and hence access to over 30 sporting estates as well as an even increasing number of shoots which we have lets days on, means that we can ensure that every day is tailored to the clients specific needs.

 We ensure that one of our senior staff host each and every day. If required we make arrangements for additional transport, all necessary permits and licenses and having detailed knowledge of accommodation in the area can advise and arrange hotel or lodge stays. We are able to supply all the necessary cartridges.
