Hendry,Ramsay & Waters (Worldwide) Ltd began life in the 1950′s as Major Neil Ramsay’s Sporting Agency. Neil was more than passionate about field sports – he had the vision to pioneer the concept of fellow private estate owners opening their doors to paying guests, who could enjoy sport previously the preserve of landowners and their friends.
We believe that we’re the best because our clients tell us so – coming back year after year. From a day’s sport to a tailor made package of airport collection, hotel and estate bookings, transport and guiding in the field, we take care of the details and you concentrate on having a great time. The company may have grown since Neil’s day but his concept remains – a great day’s sport is more than just a day out.
In 2009 the company increased its focus on providing sporting shooting throughout the calendar year in the United Kingdom while also developing partnerships in Europe and around the world where we can provide quality hunting for many species.
Hendry, Ramsay and Waters (Worldwide Ltd) is currently owned and operated by Vernon Waters who offers a very personalised service to our clients and tailors all our packages to suit your individual or group needs.

Vernon and Ed organised accommodation for our stay in Scotland along with a day shooting walked up grouse at Glenalmond and a day fishing for Salmon on the Tay. Excellent service right from my initial enquiry, couldn’t have been more helpful, would definitely 100% recommend Hendry, Ramsay and Waters.

From the initial response to my Guns on Pegs inquiry, the clarity of instructions, very warm welcome on the evening before and morning of the day and introductions to the team I was made to feel welcomed and included by Vernon and Ed. Looking forward to another day on the moor with HRW.

On planning for my retirement, one of the major things I wanted to do was to go red deer stalking in Scotland. I contacted the BASC deer section and they suggest I contact the team at Hendry, Ramsay & Waters. I did contact them and soon arranged for three day's stag stalking with them at the end of August. I was greeted at the airport and driven to the hotel around lunchtime I just had enough time to put my gear in the room and get ready to go out stalking that afternoon after a brief trip to the range to test the rifle and from thereon it just got better and better. I had an amazing afternoon with great results as I managed to get my first Stag of the trip. Before the first Stag we had a stunning stalk down side of the stream following a group of Hinds with a young stag and we managed to get within about 60 meters and watch them for over 20 minutes as they slowly grazed away from us. To me this was an amazing experience to get that close and not be recognised. On the second day, we managed to shoot two more Stags. I was having the most fantastic time ever, by the end of the week I managed to get four stags and one trophy Roebuck. The absolute icing on the cake for my trip was watching the gillie carry a stag over his shoulders uphill for 300 meters whilst I watched in amazement and carried his jacket. Overall the trip was far and above my expectations and I am certainly looking forward to going back in December for the hinds if all goes well. I would certainly recommend anybody who wants to go stalking to contact Hendry, Ramsay and Waters.
