Fresnedas Altas is a traditional family shoot located just over 2 hours south of Madrid close to the mountains of Sierra Morena, bordering on the King of Spain's estate, Encomienda de Mudela.
The price for 2 days shooting includes 3 nights full board in the shooting lodge, all cartridges, licences, insurance and transfers from and back to Madrid airport or Ciudad Real (for private planes).
Hospitality
The shooting lodge where you will stay has belonged to the Uriquijo family since the 16th century. The hospitality is first class. All the food is prepared by the housekeepers at Fresnedas using as many local ingredients as possible, such as olive oil, wild boar and red deer which are sourced from the estate. Fine wines are served with meals. Open Bar.
Topography
A beautiful estate of 1200 hectares, with undulating hillside, studded with oak trees, cork and holm oaks. The ground is covered with heather and Rosemary, The large plains of agriculture lets the partridges roam free and wild in their natural enviroment. Serene lakes and rivers run through the estate.
About the hosts
Felipe Urquijo and his family are very welcoming, making every effort to ensure the guns feel at home. From the beginning until the end of your stay, the family do their utmost to ensure you have an unforgettable time. All trips are organised and accompanied by Mary Bowes to ensure a relaxing time from start to finish.
