Stubbs Hall Farm is situated on the A638 between Doncaster and Wakefield, approximately 2 miles north of junction 38 of the A1. The shoot is set within rural countryside and can provide excellent sport for all guns.
The shoot expands over approximately 300 acres and comprises of pheasant, duck and partridge shooting. There are an array of flight ponds, spinneys, lakes and woodland where testing birds can often be produced. We have had many good days using a range of calibre's of shotgun on all types of game offered by the venue. There is an abundance of wild birds including pheasants, partridge and duck as well as game put down by the shoots' management
On a standard shoot day, the guns will arrive for refreshments and light breakfast at 9am and by 9:30am will be in their positions in preparation for the start of the first drive. There will be a break for further refreshments and some award winning local pork pie between the second and third drive and shooting will continue until lunch. We provide a 3 course meal inside the Hall usually a soup starter,then top quality meat with seasonal fresh vegetables and a sweet or cheeseboard .After lunch, there will be two to three more drives dependant on the bag required, after which, refreshments will be made available.
8-10 guns per shoot and dates are available from 12/10/15 until the end of the season

Stubbs Hall is a friendly and well run shoot that makes the very best of it's terrain. From the management through the keeper, and onto the beaters and pickers up [Kirkbourne spaniels I believe] the team could not have been better. The birds were plentiful and more than sporting, and the food was great and more than plentiful. We will be back.

Thank you for a very enjoyable day out on my first visit to Stubbs Hall. I took a late cancelation through guns on pegs for myself and a friend and shot with a mixed group from the length of the country,all good safe shots. Excellent hospitality everyone was very friendly, great food all day from breakfast until a late rather large home cooked lunch which was lovely! Although the wet weather all the previous night did its best to spoil the day the team put on some great birds and most pegs had shooting all day long, from the early duck to the last drive which had many good pheasants which were picked up very well by the team, had chance for my own dog to retrieve some birds which was welcomed. I will be sure to return to this friendly shoot - Mark
