Whilst shooting at Withycombe, Guns enjoy taking on high-flying pheasants and partridges in breathtaking surroundings. The challenging topography and flight patterns of the game will test even the most seasoned of Guns.

I shot at Withycombe Shoot at the end of January, and it was brilliant. Viki Jones the head keeper and her staff have worked very hard to improve the shooting and impress the guns. The whole team throughout the day had plenty of laughs and banter with an exceptional days sport provided, many thanks to the whole team involved, I will be back 👍. I would strongly recommend a days shooting at Withycombe.

Withycombe is a fantastic shoot with incredible topography. Run excellently by Chris and his team, the shoot shows the quality of birds that you see on some of the more famous shoots nearby but at a smaller price. The shoot has a really friendly atmosphere, and you're made to feel very welcome right from the off. This is summarised perfectly by the meal back at the house after with a real family feel and lovely food. It was also great to try out a new drive on this particular day that showed huge potential. The quality that came out was fantastic and often made you chuckle as some were almost certainly out of range. Thank you for a lovely day. I look forward to coming back!

Ive taken four days through out the season for the last four years now , I have never been disappointed with the quality of birds that are presented over the guns , this shoot just keeps getting better and better In a nut shell , Chris and all his team have become friends ,run this shoot to the very highest standards I'm looking forward to my last day in January for some of these spectacular high pheasants.

Chris jones and the team at Withycombe are fantastic! The quality of the birds is unbelievable. With drives showing stratospheric birds such as Riddlers Garden, Burrow Wood, The Punchbowl and Gorse to name a few. Chris will work with the weather to show a team of guns the best day he can. We have been shooting at Withycombe now for years and see our days here as the highlight to our season. Keep it up Chris and see you next season.

I took a party to Withycombe in November, as part of a 3 shoot expedition to Devon and Exmoor, and Withycombe didn't disappoint at all. Chris is totally dedicated to providing a first class day, of good high birds, with heights to suit everyone in our party. We stood 10 guns to keep costs down for some of the party, but to be honest its an 8 gun shoot, to give everyone stunning birds on each drive, but no one was "out of it" on any of the 4 drives to provide 300+ birds. hospitality is good with a break after the first 2 drives with hot sausage rolls, soup and drink if you wanted it. The apre shoot dinner is excellent taken at the next farm along the valley to end what was an lovely day in lovely countryside with lovely people. I can recommend it to anyone. We are returning at the end of January 2014, and booked the same day in November 2014
