Privately owned Estate in the heart of Exmoor with days from 250-500 birds. High bird shoot run with a family atmosphere. Wellshead House is available as accommodation. 9 en suit bedrooms. Enjoy home cooked food by our private Chef and relax in the private Pub with a game of skittles before your 3 course dinner.
Hospitality
The shoot recommends Loaders are used, These will be organised if requested or bring your own. The day will run as if you are on your own shoot, no rushing, decide yourself if you want to stop for Lunch or shoot through.
Topography
Deep valleys surrounded by woodland and topped with cover crops showing some of the best Exmoor birds. All based around the private shoot lodge where Eleven's and Lunch will be Enjoyed.
About the hosts
You will be met on the day by Rob, Head keeper / Manager, he will meet you at your accommodation and lead you to the shoot if requested and make your whole day as enjoyable as possible. Rob enjoys a bit of banter so be sure to get your leg pulled..!!
