The Knoll is a 3000 acre Estate situated in Somerset a few miles south of Bath. The shoot has been established since the 1960's. The estate has beautiful rolling countryside with valleys surrounded by woodland and cover crops to enhance the birds shown to our clients. The area enables us to show a good variety of birds to suit any team, novice to experienced guns.
Our days range from 150 birds to 250 birds, generally this would be over four drives per day but depending on the bag, could occasionally include a fifth.

Full hospitality is included on the day - we can tailor make a day to suit your requirements.
Topography
The estate has beautiful rolling countryside with valleys surrounded by woodland and cover crops to enhance the birds shown to our clients.
Conservation Efforts
The estate is a mixture of grassland and arable. Our cover crops consist of long term grass mixes, including flowers and bird feed. This all helps the environment, helping with insects & bees. Some of the farmland on the estate engages in countryside stewardship to give more diversity to the land.
About the hosts
Your hosts on the day are the shoot proprietors, one of whom farms the estate land around the shoot. They like to make sure their clients have a good day out at The Knoll with a welcoming, relaxed and friendly atmosphere with excellent hospitality through out the day.

Have been lucky enough to have shot here a numbers of time over the last 7 years, I shot at The Knoll yesterday & once again it did not disappoint in any way. Top quality birds were shown all day with a bird for every type of shot but a huge amount of quality high birds which tested us as a team. The hospitality from when we arrived to when we left was to such a high standard, and the whole team at the knoll were very welcoming. I would recommend the Knoll to anyone to go to, and once you have been once you will want to go back.

Traveled from Suffolk not to be disappointed with the amazing quality of birds which were driven perfectly giving every gun plenty of strong high birds to test their skills. The day was well organised with no detail left untouched, high quality 11s and an amazing full roast (craved at the table) to end the day is the lovely lodge which is tucked away in the woods. It’s a must experience shoot offering good value for money with such quality birds and hospitality.
