We shoot over a mixture of arable and pasture ground, with approximately 25 drives, that are a mixture of cover crops and small woods so you’re not looking at the same grass bank all day . We put down a mixture of pheasants and partridge but mostly pheasants as that’s what our grounds suited for . We shoot a few small 50bds but mostly 100-150s , aiming to comfortably get the bag on 4/5 drives .we have a separate gun hut for the guns to meet and have there lunch , although the friendly beaters and picker ups will be around before and after the drives in some places, if you have any questions or would like to say hello .
Hospitality
We have a caterer come in on the day to serve and prepare our food/drink in our guns hut . Start the day with a breakfast roll ,coffee/tea on arrival, drinks break out in the field for elevenses , buffet lunch back at the gun hut , cake /coffee at the end of the day .
Topography
We shoot around 3500 acres , lots of small copses with cover crops up on the banks that we fly the birds from back to the woods. Mixture of drives to suite any team of guns .
Conservation Efforts
On our shoot we have lots of wild bird mixes and wild flower patches , mixture of arable and pasture land

Your host on the day will be by business partner who I run the shoot with , he’s also the farm manager for the estate. Any questions, information you would like to know about the estate or shoot on the day he will be happy to help .
