Holcombe Shoot is situated on the edge of the Mendips approximately 15 miles south of Bath and about two hours' drive from London. We are renowned for sporting pheasants shown from a mixture of woodland and cover crop drives covering 1000 acres. Fourteen drives in total. We also provide very high flying duck from the three lakes on the Estate which are often mixed in with pheasants.
Lunch is provided in the fully equipped shoot lodge. Guns generally shoot through and have lunch at the end of the day. Coffee on arrival and mid morning refreshments are also offered.
Hospitality
Hot two course lunch prepared in the lodge kitchen. Comfortable seating areas and dining room.
Topography
Hills and valleys with cover crops situated on the tops of the hills producing sporting birds.
About the hosts
Nigel has been running a shoot at Holcombe for 20 years so is well established.
