we are a small family run shoot , we have mini driven days up to 40 birds, a mixture of peasant and duck. maximum 6 guns per day, the price includes a 2 course meal in our local pub, we have driven pheasant drives, we also have a few walked up/rough days we are situated near wiveliscombe somerset
The day its self :-
meet and greet at the local pub for tea/coffee and to draw pegs and have a run through of the day
then depart for the short journey to the shoot
we will have the 1st drive and 2nd then you will have the choice to have lunch or shoot the final 2 drives then retire to the local pub for a two course meal.
there is a possiblity of a couple of rough days to be added please contact me for more details
we welcome novice guns as we do experienced we can provide a coach and the gun its self if needed we are a friendly farm shoot very sociable ,we oringinally started out with family and friends walking around the farm a couple of times a season then was approached by a friend to put in a couple of cover crops and it has worked very well we aim to make the day a fun sociable and professional day my wife and i are easy going and happy to chat .

Topography
we are situated in the vale so we a very open we have cover crops on the higher parts of the farm which we get some good height on and then the lower part of the farm we have a small copse and some more cover

Well organised shoot, meeting at The Bear Inn for briefing and great coffee and Bacon rolls. 5 great drives, with more action than I expected. Ian has established and runs a great day, great work from Ian and the beaters and picker ups, and a welcoming elevenses. And after a very satisfying day we headed back to the pub for some great food. As a newcomer to the sport I felt very welcome and recommend this to anyone looking for an enjoyable and well run shoot.
