Dairy House Estate shoot is based in a beautiful valley just on the outskirts of Bath.
The shoot offers a mixed bag of shooting including Pheasant and Duck.
The stunning topography shows fantastic driven pheasant and partridge flying from each sides of the valley. The meandering River Frome runs through the farm which holds a vast quantity of duck both wild and reared. In addition to this there are several ponds that hold duck on the higher lands ready to be driven over the depths of the valley.
The shoot offers copious hospitality including soft drinks, fine liqueurs and champagne accompanied by a range of tasteful snacks between drives.
The day is often structured by 3 drives in the morning then a midday break with soup and sausages then 2 drives to finish. The shoot party retires in our fabulous shoot lodge that seats 24 people.
Dairy House Estate Shoot aims to offer a fun and relaxed atmosphere with the opportunity to meet likeminded characters.

About the hosts
George Thomas is the estate owner and has been running the shoot for 15 years.

What a fantastic days shooting we had last season, hence deciding to return this season with more friends. Lovely people, great hospitality and a cracking days shooting. The shoot had a lovely set up and we were happy with the bag we shot. We had a lovely lunch after the shooting with charming company. All in all, a marvellous day.

Having shot at Dairy House Farm Shoot for three seasons I must say its been a pleasure. Its organised by a young man called George Thomas who is the owner and has been running it for several years. It has a great variety of birds all of a great standard. The duck are spectacular which is often saved till the last drive and I would always suggest some heavy cartridges! The food is fantastic and its fully catered from start to finish. I have already organised my days this season and cannot wait! Stephen
